Reminders
My reminders aren't arriving
- Notifications for Crumpet: open iPhone Settings → Notifications → Crumpet and turn on Allow Notifications. If they're blocked, Crumpet shows a note on the Now screen.
- Reminders on in Crumpet: the bell at the top of the Now screen should be on, and Profile → Reminders should be on.
- Focus modes: Do Not Disturb, Sleep and other Focus modes silence notifications. In Settings → Focus, add Crumpet to the allowed apps, or set important tasks to Time Sensitive (in the task's Reminders, choose Custom → Alert).
- Quiet hour and rest days: the moon pauses reminders for an hour, and a rest day pauses them for the day. Tasks marked Always remind me still come through.
- Open Crumpet now and then: iOS lets an app keep 64 reminders lined up. Crumpet puts starts, deadlines and Always remind me tasks first, and refills the rest each time you open it.
- Muted tasks: a task set to Muted, or muted for today from a notification, won't remind you.
How do I make sure I never miss something important, like meds?
Edit the task, choose Reminders → Custom, and turn on Always remind me. It keeps reminding you on rest days and in quiet hours, as long as notifications are on for Crumpet. Choosing the Time Sensitive alert also lets it through most Focus modes. Don't rely on any app as your only reminder for medication.
Can Crumpet keep nudging me until I do it?
Yes. In a task's Reminders, choose Custom and pick how often to nag (every 5 to 60 minutes). From the notification you can mark it done, snooze it, or stop the nagging for today.
Widgets
How do I add a Crumpet widget?
- Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen until the apps jiggle, then tap Edit → Add Widget.
- Search for Crumpet and pick Now (what's now and next), Day progress (a ring for today) or Buddy, in the size you like.
- On the Lock Screen: touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, then add Crumpet under the clock.
My widget isn't up to date
Open Crumpet once and it refreshes right away. iOS decides how often widgets update in the background, so they can lag a little, especially in Low Power Mode.
Your day
What's a rest day?
Tap the cup at the top of the Now screen to make today a rest day. Your streak stays safe, reminders pause (except Always remind me tasks), and unfinished tasks move to the next day. Deadlines never move. Tap the cup again to undo it.
I'm up past midnight. Which day do my tasks count for?
Go to Profile → Day ends at and pick a time up to 6 AM. Until then, it still counts as today. If you change it late at night, it starts after that time so a finished day doesn't reopen.
What's the difference between Game and Calm?
Game has XP, levels, combos and streaks. Calm has no numbers, just a garden that grows as you finish tasks. Switch with the button at the top right of the Now screen, or in Profile → Mode.
Adding tasks by voice isn't working
Allow the microphone and speech recognition in Settings → Crumpet. Then tap the mic and say something like "Dentist Tuesday at 10:30, remind me 1 hour before". Apple Intelligence smart fill (Pro) needs a supported iPhone with Apple Intelligence turned on; other iPhones use the built-in smart fill.
Pro, trial and purchases
How do I restore Pro or my trial on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Profile → Crumpet Pro and tap Restore purchase. Pro and the 180-day trial follow your Apple Account.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments, so refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Does Pro work for my family?
If you use Family Sharing, Pro can be shared with your family group. Tips are just for you and don't unlock anything.
Your data
How do I move my tasks to a new iPhone?
Crumpet has no account, so your data lives on your iPhone and moves with an iCloud or computer backup when you set up the new phone. You can also save a copy any time with Profile → Prepare data export.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting Crumpet deletes your tasks and settings from the iPhone. To delete emails you've sent us, write to hello@crumpetapp.com. See the Privacy Policy for details.
