Terms of Use
Effective: October 11, 2026 · Also at crumpetapp.com/terms
These terms are between you and Pebble Bytes LLC, a Nevada limited liability company that makes Crumpet ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Crumpet ("the app") or crumpetapp.com, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The app and Apple's license
Crumpet helps you plan tasks, get reminders and track your progress. It is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). These terms add to the EULA; if the two conflict, the EULA applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or these terms.
Who can use Crumpet
You can use Crumpet if you can agree to these terms where you live. If you're under the age of adulthood where you live, please use it with a parent or guardian's permission, and have them make any purchases.
Free version, trial and Crumpet Pro
- The free version of Crumpet has no time limit.
- You can choose to start a free 180-day trial of Crumpet Pro. Before it starts, the app shows how long it lasts, what pauses when it ends and the price of Pro. The trial costs nothing, nothing is charged when it ends, and it doesn't renew.
- When the trial ends, the free version keeps working and nothing is deleted. Features marked Pro in the app pause until you get Crumpet Pro.
- Crumpet Pro is a one-time purchase through the App Store, not a subscription. It unlocks the features marked Pro in the app for as long as Crumpet is available on the App Store. We may add new Pro features, and we may change or retire features over time, but we won't take away a feature you bought Pro for without a good reason, such as Apple or the law no longer allowing it.
- Prices are shown in the App Store and in the app before you buy. They may change for future purchases.
Tips
Tips are optional thank-you payments to Pebble Bytes LLC, made through the App Store. They don't unlock anything, they aren't charitable donations and they aren't tax-deductible.
Refunds
Apple handles all payments and refunds. To ask for a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple. This doesn't affect any rights you have under consumer law, including any right of withdrawal in the EU or UK.
Not medical advice
Crumpet is a planning tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, mitigate or manage any condition, including ADHD. It doesn't replace advice or care from a doctor or other health professional.
Reminders
Reminders can fail to arrive, for example if notifications are turned off, your iPhone is off, a Focus mode silences them, iOS limits how many reminders an app can schedule, or because of a software problem. "Always remind me" works only while notifications are on for Crumpet. Don't rely on Crumpet as your only reminder for anything important to your health or safety, such as medication.
Your content
Your tasks and notes are yours. They are stored on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You're responsible for keeping backups; we can't recover data that's deleted from your device.
Our content
The app, its code, design, text, characters and artwork, and the Crumpet name and logo belong to us or our licensors. Some art and code come from third parties under their own licenses (see Credits in the app). You may share screenshots of the app, but don't copy, resell or reuse our artwork or brand in your own products.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app or website, use them to break the law, or try to disrupt them.
Third-party services
Some features rely on Apple services (the App Store, notifications, speech recognition and Apple Intelligence). Those services have their own terms.
Disclaimer and limits
The app and website are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for missed reminders, lost data or lost streaks, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Crumpet in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, and nothing affects rights you have under consumer law that can't be changed by agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring claims in your local courts where the law allows.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they apply. You can stop using Crumpet any time by deleting it.
General
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, the EULA and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Crumpet.
